Have an idea how many positions on the front page of Google

There are 21 positions on the front page of Google. 10 on the left (organic or free search) and 11 on the right (paid search). Is this true….?

I read an article while surfings on the internet “Post your comments” , all related comments are approved instantly,

note: participate only those who are really interested to learn about searching.

I think no body can count the postion because it depend on the search result's. what you are searching for a service or a prodcut a free results are alwyas 10 that you have mentioned, but paid results are always changes accoding to the keywords. if your searching keyword is paid like Buy something you can see the paid results on the sidebar, but if you are searching "tutorials" here you see free organic results only, not even a single paid (keyword) result.

Really you are right... the paid listing on google front page is not same for all searches. If you are searching on google team building activities then u got only 4 google paid listing and if u search on google corporate team building then u got 7 paid listing at the right side.So no body can count the postion because it depend on the search results.

Thanks :-)

Nothing to discuss about this, If the searches are related to important and most traffic generated keywords then there you can see greater paid listing then normal searches keywords.

Manoj you are right, but here my only focus is on the paid search results or free organic results. We believed in organic results, but where we analyzed it ??? on other side if you are go with PPC, you have a option to choose low or high valume keyword's.

waiting for your reply.

There are 21 positions on the front page of Google.I hope it's not true because 10 on the left (organic or free search)is always 10 results but on the right (paid search)is refers as your search. different keyword searches different no. of PPC values...

Hi ! Yes, I also think that it is not possible to count the exact number of search results in total.
I completely agree with Manoj Kumar's comment that the number of sponsored links on google front page is not same for all searches. Now since we are discussing about search results I think I should not forget to mention that Google personalizes the search results of anyone who uses its search engine.

HI, All,

I am new in the disscution.... and fully agreed with smoservice@gmail.com, amrita's and also NG's comments.

PPC Its an Internet advertising model, The advertisers pay their host only on click on their ad. Mostly PPC providers exist, Google AdWords,
Yahoo! Search Marketing,
and Microsoft adCenter.

According to PPC front page of search engine listing numbers are not fixed and Its is not possible to count the exact number of search results in total.
